Here are average pics of the latest roundel, I'll try to get better ones soon :





All hand made in the same unknown steel as some other knives I made, differential temper (it would show if you etch the blade), mild steel fittings, oak wood, brass inlays & rivets, fileworked handle edges (will show on other pics) ; scabbard is veg tanned leather all hand-worked and a bit seasoned, and mild steel end.

It will be available at about 280-300 euros.

Oh THAT is nice! I'm going to pass that around.

Primitive Balithom :



Mild steel 'flintknap' textured U-shaped handles, latchless. 1075 steel wharncliff blade, clay-quenched (see the lineon the pic), tempered to yellow. OAL 255 mm open, 145 mm folded, 110 * 25 mm blade. And man, does it cut.

This is a 318 g beast. I sense many bruised knuckles and fingers ahead.

I wanted it to be sturdy and organic/primitive-looking, and I'm not too unhappy, though there are still a few scratches here and there.

I can't remember if you wanted a sheath for this one, Thom ? If so, tell me ASAP.

If I was to make another one similar to this, it would be in the 300 euros range.

A Faërie folder :


Blade is an old file, full quench and tempered to brown, handle is oak, inlays are brass. OAL 299 m, 118 * 20 mm blade, 200 mm when folded. Will make a custom matching sheath for an extra 30-40 euros depending on the complexity of the design.
Given the time it took, a price of 200 to 250 euros would be more reasonable for this model - this is a special offer.

I don't see why I wouldn't.

I can't ask less than 200 euros for a simple roundel dagger, the price may vary according to the complexity and technicality of the object.

Thing is, I can't take orders at the moment. Unless a miracle happens.
