I'm thinking circuits, chancery, and slips, trips and falls for my sessions.

Any comments or requests?

would you be showing something of the middleground? perhapps how to combine the chanceries with fisticuffs? :)

My plan for both sessions was to show how to get to those positions for the agent, what to do when you are there, and how to get out of them for the patient. So there will be some basic fisticuffs, but as I did that last year I'm not keen to do it again. It would assume a basic knowledge of punching, and the two sessions would naturally work together one following on from the other.

Of course I'd much rather what I did complemented Milo's class so I'm pretty flexible.

Oz - perhaps we ought to have a quick chat to make sure we sort out something complimentary.

I'm not sure yet - it depends on how the programme works out and whether I have to go anywhere else that weekend. Do you have something in mind?

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the registrations that have come in so far. We are basically half full now, having opened registration a couple of weeks ago. Pay day for most people is tomorrow, so we're expecting another influx of registrations - please tell your group members, students and friends to register soon to avoid disappointment therefore. There are still a lot of people I know are planning to come who have not registered yet.

Not sure if this is entirely the right place...but

Myself and a couple of other guys are wondering if there is anyone turning up who knows anything about sword/handweapon/etc and shield fighting. We've watched a few of the Hammaborg videos and it looks awsome, would love to give it ago. So if anyone knows anything or just wants to join us in having a bash it, it'd be great to hear from you!

Mark Gilbert, the Instructor teaching Melee Games, brought a sword and shield last year. He was happy to fight anyone repeatedly with these weapons seemingly for the whole weekend. I'm sure you will enjoy fighting with him!

Hi,

It seems like I will be able to attend FightCamp this year too!

Although I would like to stay in London for a longer time before the Camp, if I am already over there :)
I would like to visit the cultural and historical heritage, get to know the city and meet my friends around there.
To make this possible, I must turn with a request to You, Londoners.

I would arrive to London on the first or second week of August. (The time of arrival can still be adjusted, all I know that I would like to do a thorough visit).
It seems, that the best flight I can find, leaves on the 21st August, in the morning. It would mean that I spend 1 more day in London after FightCamp, before leaving.
(It is also possible to leave right after the Camp though.)

I have to ask you about accommodation while I am in London, as this seems to be the main criterion to my journey. Could you possibly advise me where to stay during this time at low cost? It would be an incredibly great help.
Thank you a lot in advance, for your help.

It will be a great thing if it is possible to arrange, but if not, I might still visit FightCamp, if the London trip is not feasible for any reason... But I have to see my possibilities first, to decide which tickets to buy :)

Have a nice day,
Krisztina

Come on up to the barriers and I'll make sure you can fight for 2 days straight.

Assuming Mark and Will are still pushing for the high score, you should get a good 120 bouts if you can keep up.
.... or I could be completely wrong.

Will Tarret had about 90 bouts under his belt last year. He would have done the 100 if not for some injury slowing him down at the end.
I think he will manage it this year.

Thats a helluva lot, doubt i'm fit enought to do that, but am going to give it a damn good try! Hopefully i'll also be able to aquire some kind of shield as well, would be helpful! Am thinking either a police riot shield or depending on cost, a simple plywood cut out.

Corsair's Wares has begun to supply camping equipment. If you are foreign and travelling to FightCamp in August, then perhaps consider buying some equipment when you arrive. It might be much easier and cheaper than trying to take it on a plane with you!
