Introductory Course in Classical Pugilism

The English Martial Arts Academy is putting on a six week course in classical pugilism starting on the 22nd January 2012 at 12.30.

Each session will be one hour long and will cover a large variety of the underpinning techniques of the system that dominated the world.

The venue for the course is the brand new Hone Gym just of the A3 in Witley, Surrey.

If you've ever considered learning the original scientific striking art of such greats as Jimmy Figg, Jack Broughton, Daniel Mendoza and John "The Gentleman" Jackson then you won't get a better opportunity that this.

The cost fo the course is £45 for all six sessions including use of all necessary equipment.

I don't have a lot of experience in unarmed but if thats okay then I'll give it a go.

You'd be more than welcome, experience is not necessary. I'll set up an online booking form and payment on the website over the next few days.

The six week course is now over and we're going to roll this over into a regular club.

Sessions will be one and half hour long from half twelve next Sunday. There will be an emphasis on fitness and pressure testing early pugilistic techniques.

If you've ever fancied trying your hand at an unarmed art ad don;t mind hard work then come along and give it a try, we'd love to see you.
