hi everybody....

this years event was crazy and awesome in shades of grey...

we brought the fencing industry to our event for collecting informations about safety equipment

sören from albion came along with two paletts full of their amazing but expensive stuff

we had most brilliant trainers there who we need to thank for the very good job and there patience with the overcrowded halls

we had two truly new champions, one for sabre, one for longsword

sabre has been won by the one and only andreas engström (right on his heels... nick thomas)

sabre group champions have been the "lungenfuchser" containing of alex kiermayer, mathias ullrich, andreas maier and andreas engström. once again right on their heels... the guys nick and mike thomas' club (only 2 points behind)

longsword winner and so bearer of the extraordinary titel "SUPREME ECHIDNA OF VIENNA" was arto fama from zwaard & steen

and last bu not least we were 213 counted people on saturday

once again folks... we really would like to thank you all for beeing here.... again and allowed us to have also fun although there was a lot of work

I hope we will see us in dijon or hopefully earlier

cheers mates
Harry and the rest of the dreynteam

What Harry said ... it was exhausting for us, but great, and as always nice to meet old and new friends

Congrats to the winners!
And congrats to the Dreynschlag team - 213 is an awesome attendance figure. That probably makes you the biggest pure HEMA event in Europe now! (maybe in the world actually!)

I wish I could have been there. So close, yet so far away! Sounds like a great event and I hope to make it next time. Congrats to all winners!

Thanks to the Dreynteam for organising such a great event!

And Oli, thanks for the picture! I will try to get a silly hat to go with the title.

A verily enjoyable event indeed ! Thansk to all that made it possible, and thanks to all who accepted to share some time - not just crossing swords - with me.

Those photos are just painful to watch. All those nice people having stacks of fun and learning lots and I'm not there! Before I exit the keyboard whilst sobbing uncontrollably, let me just say that don't Dierk Hagedorn and Daniel Jaquet look very smart in their armour?

When arriving and realising you weren't there, we were frankly shocked and dismayed. An event with no Gallagher? Why, that's virtually unheard of..

Thanks chaps. Making that decision was pretty much the nadir of rather a bad winter, but things are looking a little better now. I'll see you all soon.
