Hope all is well, I have been deployed since I last PM'd you, so my training has been non-existent (reading what I can but it is not the same) I will be "in the neighborhood" on a short vacation during this time, is the invite good for those of us that have not been active and are from the other side of the pond. Keep up the good work I followed the forum a lot while deployed we just were not allowed to post on any internet forums.

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to attend tonight due to flight "issues". It has allowed me to visit Amsterdam, however.

So I raise a glass to you all and say "Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" and perhaps, I shall meet some of you on my next trip over in a few months.

Thanks to all who came!
There was a good turn-out from SG1, fairly slim from other SG chapters, and a lone ranger (Andy) from Linacre School of Defence!
Simon Thurston won the tournament, Arash Jamali came second and Andy Damms of LSD came third. Well done all! The fighting was conducted in good form, and some nice techniques were displayed, perhaps most memorably a clean take-down by Arash, and a clean disarm by Simon.

It was lots of fun and I'm really glad I came. It was good to catch up with some old faces as well as meet some of the new influx. I hope to see some more of you all at Swash / Dijon / Fightcamp.
