These type of early bascinets look really goofy to me, this period was really like the 1970's, a fashion wasteland. In fact this type of bascinet looks like a 1970's conception of a UFO space helmet.

I notice this first guy has a nice holbein / baselard dagger though.

I also like this guys armor.

Noted on the sticky, but to mention here that I've uncovered a collection of effigy rubbings at Alnwick Castle, home of the Percies.

I'll document them as soon as possible.
