Challenge to Althalus of Fior della Spada / Rapier-Dagger

I, Fleisch , do hereby challenge Althalus alias
Alex of Fior della Spada from Vienna to a gentlemanly and amicable
duel with rapier and dagger. As Althalus has accused me of being in
bad shape and untrained, this duell should last for at least 25 minutes
with am maximum break of 2 minutes for drinking.
Hits should be counted but the fight should only be stopped for a second
like a "break" in boxing. (No resting allowed between the hits).
This challenge should take place at the Dreynevent in February 2009 on
Friday at 16.30 at the sparring-hall. As judge Peter Zillinger of Klingenspiel
would be perfect. The one who lands the most hits and keeps standing
wins. As a special the one behind after 20 min can call for another
10 min round to catch up.

I, Alex, aka Althalus, do most humbly accept the challenge to prove that
overall fitness ist NOT the same as FENCING-FITNESS. I herby agree to time
and place set by my challenger and would be glad to have Peter Zillinger as
judge. May the best man win!

but i cracked my tendon yesterday..
(went bouldering, had to jump a highball and landed bad)

nevertheless i will hopefully recover till february und try to win at all cost..

..
maybe its even more exciting this way..
because my overall fitness will be pretty gone after 8 weeks in a fixation-bar..

and i can humble declare my self as the winner..

the bout lasted 20 min ..
and had two referees und peter zillinger from klingenspiel..
..
every good clear hit was counted..
doublehits were not counted..
..
the fight ended 63 : 36 for me ..

which means in this 20 min minutes 99 !!! hits were made
(at an average of every 17 seconds)
..
thanx and respect to althalus who fought extremly well..
and had no stamina problems at all (he was even gettin more and
more dangerous at the end..)
..
its amazing what the mix of adrenalin, endorphin and testosteron
is capable of ..
..
