Nigel's right - if you are getting back to Stanstead the next day then it would make more sense to stay at his because I'm on completely the other side of London! From my place to Stanstead is a bit of a trek.. which is why I never use Stanstead!! (I live close to Heathrow though, which caters to a better kind of passenger )

Great, Nigel's place it is. I actually don't snore unless I am dreadfully drunk or have a cold. And even then it's fairly harmless (not like Paul). It's going to be great, we can have a clown slumber party!

Unfortunately I am poor and can only afford Ryanair. So it has to be Stanstead.

Thanks for the travel information, that was very helpful. Here is what I can plan : arrival at Waltham Cross station at approximately 7:30 pm on Friday 16th. From there I can walk to the Mills (it is close to the Abbey, right ?), it looks like a twenty minutes walk.

For the return trip, may I grab the offer of a nice, flat, confy floor in your house for the Sunday night ? Then I will go back to Heathrow on the Monday morning. There is a nice flight at 6:45 am, I should be there one hour before, so wake up at... 4:30 am ? Just kidding . Except you might need to be up early yourself, then I can take that one, of course. I normally do not snore, but you never know. I might simply subconsciously refrain from snoring when I am with my wife.

Which times are you after, Caz?
There will be people (ie. us) at the Mills from late-afternoon/early evening. I suppose we'll get started on Saturday morning at about 10am. No need to rush, as we're staying there, it stays light until late and we can keep doing stuff all day and evening if we so wish! The main programme will probably go from about 10 to 5 though. On sunday we'll probably start a bit later, for alcohol-induced reasons. But it would be good if there are some people out in the main field by about 9.30 each day, as we are supposed to be there for public entertainment (though the number of public there at that time of day is normally less than 5!).
