Retail shop now open on site

Postby jim » 07 Jul 2008 16:43

Hi all, our retail store is now open on site, its swung somewhat in favour of guns at the moment, but that should correct itself as soon as we get the A&A and Popinjay swords in stock.

New website

Postby jim » 05 Aug 2008 13:49

New website is up and running, a little bit content sparse at the moment but we will be sorting that very soon.

Anyone with existing links to the site may need to check them as there is a chance they no longer work.

The main site is still at the old URL however the HEMA section can now be directly accessed via http://www.swordfightmidlands.co.uk

Cool stuff - looking forward to seeing all the info and pics go up.
Any ideas when you might start getting the new Tinker/Hanwei swords?

The UK importers still have no date for when the Tinker swords will ship from the factory, they havent even had it confirmed that they are in production yet.
So certainly not before mid September, could even be October. Its a case of watch this space im afraid.

Quite pleased with the new website, just have to make the time to get all the content up there.

This is indeed true, we have had countless transactions with the Grange now with never anything but great service, something which can often be tough to find in this country.

I know him...I was not aware he was making enough blades to supply anyone else? Cool news if this is true.

Is it just me or is the webpage intolerably slow?

The popinjay stock has ben on order for a very long time, with no delivery date yet set, as soon as we have deffinate information on it i'll let people know.

And yep the shop seems to have suddenly decided to rival the average arthritic snail for speed. No idea whats happened, trying to get it sorted with the hosting company atm.

That would be very useful indeed, since Hanwei discontinued the fencing court sword we have not had any options left, other than much higher price ranges of course.
