I have owned this sword for around a year but my interests have shifted to a different era so I have decided to sell it. It is one of the best handling swords I have used, its completely effortless to wield. It has a hollow ground blade which was sharpened by Mark very well. The large pommel is hollow as per the original.

When I received the sword it seemed that there was something rattling around inside the pommel (perhaps a tiny shard of metal or wood), which you can hear when moving the sword around. Its nothing major at all but worth mentioning. The swords hilt is finished well but I would say a little bit crude when compared to other manufacturers like Albion. As you can see by the pictures there is what seems to be forge scale on the underside of the guard and on the pommel. Also a very minor amount of rust on the hilt components that could be cleaned up quite quickly.

Overall its a very sturdy sword and replicates the original far better than any other reproduction I have seen. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Blade 27 inches

Grip 4.5 inches

Guard width 9 inches

Weight approx. 2lbs 10oz

Looking for £250 plus £10 postage via Paypal. UK buyers only please. Let me know if you need any better quality pics, I had to downsize them for this forum.

I've actually handled this before Mark sold it and it is a nice sword that I came close to buying myself. I'll take this off your hands - I'll PM you.
