Book on the german longsword - finally available in english

Postby Herbert » 02 Jan 2015 22:12

Hello all,

I would like to announce that my book finally got translated into english:
http://www.amazon.com/Sword-Fighting-In ... midt+sword

I make this announcement with mixed feelings.
On one hand I am thankful that it is finally translated.
On the other hand, the book is now a few years old and not really up-to date regarding my interpretation.

I still think it is useful, especially for beginners.

We'll see what your feedback is.

Thanks for your patience,

Herbert

Congratulations. It will be interesting to pick up and read at some point.

A few days ago, while on holiday in Krakow, I wandered into a shop and noticed a copy of your book translated into Polish. It seems to be spreading rather successfully!

Great - that is the first kind of feedback I have received regarding my polish translation. I have no idea how it is received in Poland.
I hope that it spreads a bit now with the english translation. We'll see.
