Wanted: .22 shells

Postby Phil C » 03 Oct 2013 22:28

I have .38 brass casings but finding .22 for adding to the end of cut-down epee blades is proving elusive.

Anyone have any, or any leads?

Tried phoning Bisley?
I'm happy to hear of epee blades being cut down to proper length.

A lot of .22 goes on at my local range, although I don't do it myself. I could see if I could get hold of some spent brass there if you like.

If you ever want 7.62x54R I have quite a bit.

I found 8mm rimless starting pistol blanks a better size than .22 for a cut down epee (22 is pretty tiddly, only 5.7mm on the outside of the casing).

I'm happy to take a few of those too if you can get any.

How many do you want? I've got hundreds of .22 cases.
