Modern 36" ash dowel shanked, brass-ball ended, brass tipped cane, ideal for la canne Vigny/ Bartitsu or general carry.

How is the ball attached?

There's a double-ended screw between the shaft and the ball. I never tried to twist off the ball to see if the ball has been glued on to the screw as well.

I'll also add in a wooden truncheon for another £20- both are serviceable but since they aren't antique nor can I use them to hit my chums with they don't fit into my collections at the moment and are redundant.

Hi Phil
is that an actual issue truncheon, no sign of the lanyard I suppose?

It's a modern repro, I just clove-hitch a length of paracord to it.
