Some swords for sale - UK/ EU only please

Hiya,

Just gained access to my computer, so here are some links to some pics (sorry - can't seem to post full pics - maybe the files are too big?)
I have some sharp and pointees for sale - prices are pretty much firm, but include UK p&p, so I think they're reasonable! Please pm or, ideally, e-mail me on: a.mercer@leeds.ac.uk as I'm more likely to check my e-mails regularly

Antique yataghan - £150
I bought this fairly recently. Don;t often come across them for sale, so I snapped it up only for my tastes to change. Blade is sharp in places, and it comes with the remains of its scabbard. Looks like it's seen use!

Pair of stainless steel sai - £20
E-bay buy back in the day - just used for display. Would like to sell along with the kama below. Couple of scratches, but look nice on the wall!

Pair of stainless steel kama - £20
As the sai above - couple of scratches. Blackened stainless blades, unsharpened; wooden handles.

Del tin 13th Century Falchion - £180 - SOLD
A lovely sword, but I'm drawing away from this period. Very hefty and solid. Bought directly from Del-tin, and only displayed since. As new. Blade is sharper than Del Tin's usual 1mm edge, although it gets blunter near the tip. Great opportunity to get a Del tin without the 3-4 month wait!

Vintage/ antique Kris - £20
Another e-bay find. Looks very old/ relic condition. The blade looks either wrought or patter-welded/ damascus, as the corrosion has eaten into some of the metal faster than the rest. It also has a weld in the blade where it has previously been broken and fixed - something I'm given to understand happened quite a lot. No scabbard or stand.

Hanwei Scottish Court Sword - £100
A couple of scuffs to the blade where the sword's been going in and out of the scabbard. The only other issue with it is that the vast majority of the silver plating has worn off. This is mainly down to the plating being very thin - I have spoken to other people about it, and some have received brand new swords with substantial plating worn away! Sword's fine otherwise.

Antique 1796 officers sword -£100 sold
The gentleman I bought this from said that it was a river-find. I can't remember which river, and either way it was probably an excuse for it's 'relic' condition! You can see by the photos that the blade it corroded at the tip. The Quillon has also broken off. It retains wire-wrap, whether this is original or not I can't be sure, but it looks comparably aged. The grip is also loose, but still fixed to the blade. Happy to consider offers on this one!

Apologies, Aaron, but UK couriers don't seem to like us selling swords/ weaponry overseas. I have had problems before now where I sent a sword abroad to Mainland Europe, only for it to be caught at customs and returned to me. I'd rather avoid that kind of disappointment for myself and any buyers.

Thanks,

Ant

Hi All,

I've edited my original post to get rid of everything that was sold, and to drop the prices a little bit.

Prices still include UK p&p, and I'm now also willing to send these within Europe (we can split the postage costs).

Cheers,

Ant
