SOLD: 19thC knife from Crete

Postby admin » 05 Aug 2012 20:08

This is a type of knife that is quite difficult to find these days, but this example is in a bit of a sorry state. The blade is actually in pretty good condition, but the hilt has been ravaged by time unfortunately. However, with some work this could be restored to look a lot better - there is actually quite a bit of subtle decoration left which does not show up well in these photos. The hilt and blade are both solid and the edge is still there. It also comes with this strange wicker scabbard which I guess is original.

Price: £40 + P&P
