Another one

the tile may sound quite dull, but I don' thave time to think of something else. Could have been Wolf ad Dragon or whatever...

Anwyay, here's the thing : from the same batch as the FFF (well 3 of them at least), 1075 steel and all. Except that I didn't quite like the handle, so I decided to ornate it a bit.

And in the end you get this :

I admit I like what Jake Powning does, and I wanted to give a try at engraving/woodworking.

Here are more pics :

one one side of the handle, a dragon of sorts, and on the other side what's supposed to be a wolf, as you can nearly see (sorry for the low quality of the pics - contrarily to the others, this one looks better IRL)

I polished the blade better than the others, to match the amount of work on te handle.

And I added a bit of filework on the protruding bit, to make it look (allegedly) like a monstruous animal head :

Most of the work on the handle has been done with this BTW :) :

More to come soon.

Thanks guys.

Haven't thought of the price yet...besides, to tell the truth when unfolded the blade deviates slightly from the handle - mainly because the holes have not been drilled exactly perpendicular (but I promise I'll buy a drill press soon), and the axis (an old nail) is a bit bent too - so it may slightly lower its price. Still, the engraving job took me some time (though the loading time I get on the current NWN module I am playing also helped), but I really enjoyed doing it, and wil probably do it again.

I know Alex the Mountain quite fancied the handle. I'll see if he can come up with an offer that would suit me :)

Sold for 60 euros.

Had to make a special offer, it was the Mountain's birthday last month.

I'll gladly make more of this type BTW - perhaps with better design.

I'd like something similar if you make another, I like that style of engraving.
