Empire Fencing Mask

Postby Cutlery Penguin » 24 Nov 2011 20:46

The Weapon Store's first consignment of fencing masks is currently winging its way to the UK and it now looks certain that they will be here in time to get them to customers before Christmas.

They are already the cheapest fully black fencing mask available, but for a limited time (until they reach us) they are at an even lower price of £45.

There is also a scheme whereby we offer an even bigger discount for clubs when they order 10 or more masks. Let me know if you would be interested.

You can see more here.

The mesh on this mask is rated to FIE standards (double the rating required for standard CE certification).

Will Santa be bringing my mask by Christmas Oz? :)

Not rushing, just curious.

Received the mask today! :D

First impression out of the box is that it is very well made and the fit is perfect (thanks to sizing advice from Oz). Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. 8)

Not a problem, actually it was nice to have something to open after Christmas! :)

I've ordered myself one of these masks (after a little help on sizing from Oz). I'll be sure to let you know what i think after I've let Dt whack me in the head a bit :-P

So far very pleased on price and service. Can't wait to get my hands on the actual product :-)

Okay. So my mask arrived on Friday, which meant i was able to take it to our first training session of the year. Starting 2012 with my own mask was fantastic.

Initial assessment of the mask is that it is superb quality and shows incredible value for money. I plan on doing a full review of it but Will hold off until i have had one or two more training sessions using the mask so i can get to know it better first.

So far very pleased with my purchase.

When I click on the link to the weapon store at the top I get a message saying "Sorry, the product was not found." Are these no longer available?

Currently out of stock and awaiting a new shipment. Unless you're after a small, I have a few of those.

Irritatingly the shop software automatically removes items from view if they are out of stock. I will try to remedy this.

Thanks for the reply. A small probably wouldn't cut it, but that's OK since it will probably take me a little while to save up some cash and by that time you should have more in stock.

Would the XL be fitting for a 61 cm big noggin ??

You're probably better off with a L. Assuming you're measuring circumference around the head just above the ears I'm 60cm and the L has a little bit of play in it (fixable by adjusting the straps and back tab) so I'd guess the XL will be too big.

If it's wildly out I'll happily exchange it if it's unused.
