HI from Belgrade!

Postby George S. » 08 Feb 2014 14:10

Hi to Schola Gladiatoria,we are here for a long time but we did not present ourselves.

Just to salute you all from "KDF Singidunum",first real HEMA club in Belgrade-Serbia,we are almost five years old and we are dedicated practitioners of Liechtenauer fechten tradition, especially late XV and XVI c fechtschule tradition.Membership of our club is not so great in numbers like leading HEMA clubs in Europe, but it's mostly made of historians and lawyers ,for some reason :D
So,from now now on,this part of Southeastern Europe is covered by HEMA.

We also produce very fine federschwerts and swords for our own needs.
That is all from us for now! Please, visit our page and support us!

Cheers from KDFS

Hi George!

We had an interesting discussion about Aleksandar Saičić. ;-)

I have just checked the Global HEMA Census, which doesn't contain any group from Serbia. It might be a good idea to contact HROARR site and provide Roger Norling of the GHFS with details about your club.

Здраво! I don't know about your fencing but the Pleskavice in Pirot are better :P There is also a club right-next door in Sofia and I know a couple of historical reenactors in Belgrade...we definitely need more hema-ists on the balkans, though

Our club is HEMA oriented by nature and we do not mix it with historical reenactment whatsoever. We think that it's not good for HEMA.
