Hi from Geneva

Postby ian_r_knowles » 29 Jun 2012 05:10

New to this subject, haven't started learning yet but have been reading everything I can find about the study and interpretation of the original source material. Looking to join a club in September to start training. There seem to be a few around, can anyone suggest how I can decide which is the right one? I'm keen to learn the authentic techniques and not stage/film inspired show fighting.

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum. It sounds like your best option would be to try out each of your options and see which suits you best.

You can't go wrong with these folks: http://www.gagschola.ch/

Also, my group is located in Fribourg. It's probably inconvenient to train regularly with us, but you're always welcome to come by. :)

Does anyone have a contact for the above mentioned club, GaGSchola in Geneva? On their website there is only an email which I've tried but had no reply.

This is Daniel Jaquet's group right? I think he is registered here under his own name.
