Heya

I'm Marc, from up north and a member of Dragon's Tayle.

I've been a member since about June I think. Really enjoying learning Ledall. This is the first martial art I have tried and I have never done re-enactment or anything like that either.

I was looking for a sword based martial art in the local area, found a Kendo class, an Aido class and a couple of fencing classes but none really felt right for me. I happened to be sat in a pub discussed my situation with a friend when in walk a few members of Dragon's Tayle and as they knew my friend they sit down. They had just finished a training session and when I asked what was in the bags was responded to with "swords" my interest was piqued.

The idea of learning something English and from my own heritage really appealed so a little while later I started attending sessions.

Anyways, just saying hi as I have been lurking about here for a couple of months. I'm pretty quiet on forums but wanted to say I very much enjoy the discussions and have found some very interesting and useful things here so far.
