Polearms of dismounted men-at-arms

Postby Vino » 17 Jul 2015 11:43

I've been wondering which polearms were used by dismounted men-at-arms in the Late Middle Ages. I know the pollaxe is the one most commonly associated with men-at-arms (although the spear seems to show up in treatises just as often) but did they exclusively use pollaxes or did they also use other polearms? I'm particularly curious if polearms generally associated with commoners like bills were ever used by men-at-arms.
