Hello Krist, welcome to the forum! Thank you for joining the discussion, you have some very interesting information to share. Where do you train and with what group? It is surprising that you managed to break 4 Meyers and a Liechtenauer! And what swords are you using now?

Thanks Keith,

I'm a member of the Hallebardiers - Guild of St-Michael. We're located in Bruges, Belgium.

We spar a lot, but we're no brutes. That's why it's very strange so many Albion's broke during our sessions.
Again, the handeling is great. But due to the problems we had with them, we stopped buying them.

We mainly switched to the Ensifer an Peter Regenyei, and are very pleased with them.

The Albion replacement policy is great, and could be an argument to consider purchasing one. But their lack of stock (in Europe) makes it a real pain. It's no fun waiting months to get a replacement, and use borrowed blades for training.
On a painful sidenote : one of the blades broke during a sparring session by a member who borrowed it, because his blade broke a few months before.
