Show me your best HEMA sparring videos

I was showing some people some videos of HEMA the other day, and I realized everything I knew of was pretty old and didn't really reflect the state of the art today.

I'd like to see the best HEMA sparring or tournament videos available, for every weapon, longsword, rapier, smallsword, saber, dussack, ringen, dagger, pugilism whatever you got. Only the best though! Preferably short videos without too much warmup, promotional stuff etc. Fast paced, skilled. Clean.

Club promo videos are ok if they are action packed, but I'd like to see nothing older than 2011, I think I've seen all the good ones before that. Do people still make club promo videos?

So show me what you got people, from all over the world...

Here are a selection of our current pugilism vids - The first two are sparring bouts at the end of a training session.

My videos aren't very good and I have neglected to do any recently, but here are a couple showing Frenchified pugilism and Anglicised small-sword, in case they're of interest.

Thanks for posting, I know nothing about the Classical smallsword, interesting guard there with the point down. Good form.

I found a saber fencing video I like, from the Thomas brothers.

Thanks.
That's Sir William Hope's New, Short and Easy Method of Fencing, which is based upon principles which some think similar to those seen in Silver's texts. Castle dismissed it as a spadroon system but it works quite well with the small-sword.

This is an old video and it's only at about half speed, so it's breaking two of my rules here... but i like this match between Jake and Mike Cartier from Dixie Krieg 2009. They were using Albion Liechtenauers I think with minimal gear so it's very controlled. It's interesting to watch Mike using the Meyer guards instead of the sort of mish-mash amalgum of KDF techniques most of us use.

Ok, this is half speed. So that the people watching could see the action, and so that we using only tshirts and Moc Liecthenauers would not die.

Me and Fredrik "Ege" Egemalm of UHFS was asked to do a short demofight at a longsword and pollaxe seminar we attended as most of the guys there were reenactors and new to HEMA. So without any preparation we grabbed our swords and started, we had never fenced each other before so I am quite happy with the result. This was a couple of months back.
The best part are the first two minutes with various actions going on, then it groves stale. (Perhaps we started to understand each others fencing at that point? )

(Spot the talhoffer kick at around 1:23ish, and yes I have been playing around with low guards a lot lately.)

If you butcher his language then he probably has a right to nick your smallsword.

It's OK to post videos of other people, right?
I quite liked this Carlos Negredo vs Jan Chodkiewicz one, contrasting longsword approaches and all that:

Some Ringen from Vasaslaget in Sweden, with added comments about the action:

me vs Tim of GHFS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_-RST1S ... ure=relmfu

I like this one as you can see us working a lot on getting a good and dominant standing position, then as I feel him getting a takedown going I do a really nice reversal and end up pinning him. (Ott Jude tells you to work after a stronger opponent, I would call doing a reversal when you feel him getting the advantage being a possible way of doing this.)

Me vs Niklas of GHFS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PTnKO7p ... ure=relmfu

Not much to comment, we work a bit standing, I get a decent grip and use the force of pivoting to throw him to the ground.

Me vs Mikael of GHFS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJs_NS2I ... ure=relmfu

Time to have one where I loose. You can see how we try to outmanoeuvre each other, we end up in a "sitting scramble" where I almost get him, but due to us being off the mat we are reset and then Mikael wins our little last effort throwing scramble and gets me in a nice side control.

(And no I do not have the mother of all boogies in my nose, I was bleeding so this is a ton of paper to make sure that A: I do not bleed on my opponent. B: I do not get to breathe for the remainder of the tournament.)

@Angantyr: What were the rules of this ringen tournament?

In short:

"Belgian king of the hill format"

1 min round, 3 rounds to determine who wins the bout.
2 "lives to each" participant. If you loose a bout you loose a life, loose both and you are out.

Clean throw = win (if one still has a hold of say an ankle the bout continues)

If bout goes to the ground there are two ways of getting a win:
A - standing up first with no contact and the other still down
B - holding the other down for a count of three.
If nothing happens in a short while the two wrestlers will be reset standing up.

No kick, punching, joint locks or chokes.

All of this was experimental rules, and the poor man judging the whole affair had not done it before, but it went very well.

OK

Out of interest, by clean throw do you mean something like a judo ippon or simply the fact that one is on the floor and the other still standing?
