My training partner and I had our last fight at the park, he's moving away . I haven't been able to train and have been active on the board because of a torn ACL from MMA but here I am a year later after surgery. My footwork is still fairly short because of the injury but i am recovering well. And I'm ready to start improving again and even found a local HEMA Alliance affiliated group.

My Lichtenauer was stolen from his car so he went overboard and made me this out of a bare Tinker blade. Note the blackened hilt and pommel with silver inlay.

Was wondering tough, do you ever feel that you become linear in your line of attack?

Perhaps I am a bit linear Magnus, I'm still compensating for my knee injury. I will strive to correct that.

I'm not shure if you are too linear - would have to see more videos (yes please!).

Have you tried looking at the material straight after a bout? when it is fresh? It makes me more concious about what I should be doing.
