Officially 1 hour, but there is no one using the hall after us, so I will stretch that by at least half an hour. I can't see there being a problem.

[igor]Masther! The creature lives![/igor]

Last nights first session went really well. Ten minutes befroe we were due to start I had two people & I was getting nervous. But by the time we kicked off I had fifteen and a nice mixture of newbs & more experianced chaps.

Warm up games were followed by me flapping my lips about the club, wma, the fed, hemac, fiore & swords in general.

The we got into learning basic cutting technique & drills. (next week this will be accompanied to a pumping rock / goth / punk sound track, as the aerobics sound system is in the room)

The last few minutes Matt took over & gave a quick over view of Fiore's system and a few tasters of things to come.

We then adjourned to the bar the other side of reception, for cheap beer & a chance to get to know each other better.

Terry, Scholas favorite fly poster & photographer extraodinaire was there to record the occaision. So hopefully a few snaps will appear shortly.

Cheers, Nigel

Yeap... Class was good and the place is really nice...

Really like the idea of some good goth or power in the background... Will go well with the big piano in the end of the room...

Nigel, when are the pictures coming out?

Yeah I had a good time as well, got some quality sparring in. Shame the bar closed at 10pm though, I was just getting into my flow...
