I realized that I left out Richard Cullinan's website on Bolognese fencing and Italian rapier, so I have added it, as well as fixing my second oops with Spanish versus Portugese and Galician. Please keep the suggestions coming ...

Ok, I have changed it to mention the English summary. I have added duello.tv which I learned about from Devon Boorman at the Armizare Academy, and cleaned up the markup in the original post.

After consultation with the folks on the Ars Gladii forum, I have added some German-language websites including fencing groups and publishers that sell a few HEMA books. I also added Wyvern Media. As always, if you see something missing please let me know!

Spurred by Anders Linnard's generous posting of an English translation of a GHFS manual for teachers, I have added some GHFS resources and the new journal Acta Periodica Duellatorum to the list.

A temporary site of the Hungarian Longsword Fencing Sport Federation (Magyar Hosszúkardvívó Sportszövetség, Hungarian abbreviation: MHS):

http://hosszukardvivas.atw.hu/

Image
(click on it to view the whole image)

Currently the page contains the founding documents of the federation, also a set of files (rules, application forms etc, all in Hungarian) related to the First Sarospatak Longsword Tournament which was held on May 18, 2013 (somewhere in the future I will write a short review of the event).

A French Facebook groups which we use to discuss medieval wrestling (mainly German stuff): https://www.facebook.com/groups/186544091450281/

On the French websites front you probably want to add ARDAMHE's (http://ardamhe.free.fr) and Jean-François Gilles' (http://jfgilles.perso.sfr.fr/escrime/).

Thank you Ulrich and merci beaucoup Alexander! I have added both of your suggestions. My French is rusty, but I am working on it.

I humbly ask to remove the name "Hugh Knight" from my blog: http://talhoffer.wordpress.com/ - in your blog list. :?

The man with the look of a buoy and fascinating theories on HEMA has his blog here: http://talhoffer.blogspot.de/

Ah, ich habe mich geirrt. Ich werde das Link korrigieren.

I will add Hugh Knight's blog and the new Cateran Society video diary, as well as correcting the link to your blog.

An update on Hungarian websites.

A good fencing forum (re-enactors & HEMA) at Militia.hu is dead. For several years - between 2013 and 2017 - the topics were available as static archives, but not anymore.

There is an active, quite large Hungarian fencing topic (8000+ posts) called Vívás mint harcművészet (Fencing as a Martial Art), which covers almost all aspects of Hungarian, non Olympic fencing: re-enactors, HEMA, JSA, local developments etc.

Recently I have archived parts of that topic via Wayback Machine, starting with the most recent posts.
(Each batch contains 500 posts.)
