The rule of bayonet fighting training for infantry - 1838. Compiled by captain Rengou.
The book consists of several parts. Reasonings of the author about place of bayonet fighting in the soldier training. Training without rifles. Training with rifles. Training typical combat for special forces (confrontation of cavalry armed with sabres, the confrontation of cavalry armed with lances, fighting in a part of a small group). Action bayonet in large groups, conventional training.

Thank you. This book is interesting because it combines two main approaches in teaching bayonet. It is possible to count four. Here is seen the approach (gymnastic) which was established on the basis of ideas about the Prussian army of the era of Frederick the Great. Also see the implementation of the principles of Alexander Suvorov (situational). As a scientist in the field of physical training and sports can also be mentioned for that time, methodical level of the book.
