I stumbled upon this, and checked to see if it was listed on the forum, and didn't see anything. It was prepared by the War Office for the Horse Guards:

A cursory glance through the manual leads me to believe that there is nothing revelatory here. It appears that this "revision" was removing material.

If that is true, I find the natural ebb and flow of what is considered to be the appropriate amount of information for a manual to be very interesting. As we all know, later works from Hutton and Waite certainly had more information.

Can you view it? I have never listed it here because in the UK we can only view snippets of it. I'f you're able to save a PDF of it please do so and mail it to me at schola-gladiatoria at hotmail.co.uk - I'll then host it for UK people :)
