We have an original copy of this manual in our York Minster Library. It is signed by the author and has a few corrections of the text in the same hand and ink. I haven't cross checked it with the transcription Matt posted to see if these changes are incorporated or not. If anyone is interested I could look into it.

I would be interested to know if there are any differences - thanks!

Very cool find - as far as I can tell, Wylde is quite a rare print.

Payson, just wondering if you've had a chance to compare the original copy of Wylde with the pdf transcript available at the LSD site? I'm particularly interested in any changes/corrections in the backsword and quarterstaff sections, though obviously it would be good to know of any differences. That would be much appreciated.
