Directions by train

The site is nearest to Berkswell station.

To get to Berkswell station from London takes around 1 hour 20 mins and costs about 39 for an 'Off Peak Open Return' ticket, which also covers your return.

You must catch the train to Coventry from Euston station* and change at Coventry to get the local train going through Berkswell.

* Note that Euston station is a 5 minute walk (or less!) up the road from St.Pancras International terminal (Eurostar) - you do not need to go to King's Cross station.  Euston is the opposite direction from St.Pancras to King's Cross and is very easy to find - just ask someone how to get to Euston station.

From Berkswell station by foot takes around 20 minutes:

Follow station road up the hill past the station pub.
Continue following this road past the Brickmakers Arms, up into the centre of the village.  Go past the shops and go straight over at the roundabout.
Continue up station road until you reach a T-junction.  Bear left here onto Balsall Street and then cross the road.
Turn into the next road on the right, which is Frog Lane please be very careful here as there is no public footpath on this road.  The Grange is on the right hand side and will be clearly signposted.

Please note that there is no taxi rank at Berkswell station.  There is however a private hire firm in the village called 'Balsall Common & Meriden Cars', and they will collect from the station if you call them.  Their number is 01676 529222 (0044 1676 529222 for foreign phones).

Directions by plane

Birmingham International Airport is the nearest airport, about 15 minutes drive away.  Taxis are easily available to the site from there - Balsall Common & Meriden Cars for example, on 0044 (0) 1676 529222.

It is also possible of course to fly to one of the London airports and get a train from there.  Berkswell station is a 20 minute walk away from the site, or you could get a taxi from there.
