BUYING AND SELLING ANTIQUE SWORDS AND OTHER WEAPONS IN THE UK

I am Matt Easton - an historical fencing instructor and arms and armour researcher, based in Surrey, England. I have been collecting antique arms for over 20 years.

I have lectured on arms and warfare at venues such as the Tower of London, Stibbert Collection, Royal Armouries Leeds and Wallace Collection, as well as publishing a few articles and books. I am currently working on a few different sword-related publications. There are a growing number of articles on the research page here, containing various bits of research I have been working on. I intend to release further articles here in the future.

News and updates now go up on my dedicated FACEBOOK PAGE. Please go and give the page a like.

I specialise in Victorian British military swords, but also deal with weapons of various periods and nationalities.

For purchasing something you simply need to email me at schola-gladiatoria@hotmail.co.uk - I accept BACS bank transfers within the UK and Paypal internationally. All prices contained here exclude postage and packing (10 flat fee for swords within the UK). I post items internationally at cost, including the USA, Canada, Australia, the EU and so on. I do accept negotiable payment plans on items over 300.

I do not have a physical shop and all my trading is done online, although I do occasionally sell at arms fairs. I run a popular YouTube channel (scholagladiatoria) and weekly fencing classes in London and Woking. I have a good reputation within the community and you can also find me, with plenty of good reviews of my sales on Swordforum International. It is sometimes possible to arrange collection of an item from me personally at one of my classes or an arms fair.

I am always on the hunt for antique (pre-WW1) items to buy and either add to my collection or sell. If you have something to sell then please just email me with some photos. I also occasionally buy parts of or entire collections.
